Fichtelberg in winter garb: A frost-clad lookout tower rises above the snow-covered trees of the Erzgebirge, while the horizon disappears in chilly fog. The contrast between icy structures and soft snow creates calm and drama at the same time. The motif was created by the photographer Christoph Schaarschmidt.
